Keep a useful computer working. Vancouver Laptop offers More makes & specialist devices repair and recovery assessments, with a C$50 estimate online or by drop-off.
Models and configurations
The exact device matters.
Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Dynabook, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Framework and other manufacturers
Older laptops, rugged computers and less common models can still be assessed. Give the full manufacturer and model, describe the fault and mention previous modifications or repairs.
Similar model names can use different displays, batteries, connectors and boards. The assessment identifies the suitable parts and whether repair, replacement or data recovery is the practical next step.
Tell us what changed
Choose the symptoms you recognise.

- Startup or performanceRecord error messages, slow applications and recent updates or upgrades. Avoid erasing the computer before discussing data needs.

Before you approve
A repair proposal you can evaluate.
Your estimate describes the next step and any inspection needed. Parts availability, the condition of the device and the work required determine the final repair quote. Labour, parts and specialist recovery work are approved separately.
We are an independent repair service. Manufacturer names identify the computers we assess and do not imply manufacturer affiliation or authorisation.
